Who this speaker is for
This is aimed at people who want a compact Bluetooth speaker for casual listening around a shower, campsite, beach, pool, travel bag, or kayak. The supplied description lists a built-in microphone for hands-free calls, multicolor lighting, and True Wireless Stereo pairing for two compatible units.
For more options in this category, see Product Demo Lab’s portable Bluetooth speaker reviews. This EBODA model’s appeal is its claimed mix of small size and carry-friendly features rather than home-audio scale.
| Type | Compact portable Bluetooth speaker |
|---|---|
| Water use | Listed as floating and waterproof; current rating should be confirmed |
| Battery claim | 2000mAh; up to 24 hours at medium volume |
| Stereo option | Listed True Wireless Stereo pairing for two speakers |
| Included accessories | Carabiner and USB-C cable listed |
| Extra functions | RGB lighting and built-in microphone |
Water protection and outdoor use
EBODA describes the speaker as floating and built with a rubber protective shell. The supplied material also describes it as waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof for outdoor use. Those are listing claims, not independently verified performance results.
The important caveat is the rating itself: the source uses both IPX7 and IP67. Those designations are not interchangeable, so I would confirm the current product page, packaging, or manual before making water protection a deciding factor. Follow the manufacturer’s port-cover and care instructions around water.
Battery, lighting, and everyday extras
The listing claims a 2000mAh battery and up to 24 hours of playback at medium volume on one charge. Actual runtime is not established in the available source and can vary with volume, lighting, and connection conditions.
RGB lighting is listed with music-synced effects and an SOS strobe. The description is internally inconsistent, referring both to five multicolor light modes and to six modes in each RGB area. If the exact lighting behavior matters to you, verify the current documentation.
The package is listed as including a USB-C cable, user manual, and carabiner alongside the speaker. The hanging loop and carabiner are practical listed features for attaching it to compatible gear.
Audio, calls, and pairing
EBODA claims clear, loud sound with strong bass, but the available source does not establish real-world sound quality. The listing also says two compatible speakers can connect through True Wireless Stereo for left/right playback. Confirm compatibility and pairing instructions if you plan to buy a pair specifically for that feature.
Fast pairing, stable connectivity, and range up to 66 feet / 10 meters are also listing claims. Actual usable Bluetooth range can vary by surrounding obstacles and wireless conditions. The built-in microphone is listed for hands-free phone calls, but call quality was not established in the source.
What to check before ordering
Start with the water rating. The IPX7-versus-IP67 conflict is the clearest reason to check current documentation. Also confirm the physical size and weight if you need the speaker to fit a specific travel kit, handlebar setup, or shower shelf: the supplied listing gives two different sets of dimensions and weight.
Finally, confirm the package contents and stereo-pairing compatibility on the current listing. The feature set is broad for a compact speaker, but the inconsistent supplied details mean a quick pre-purchase check is worthwhile.
