Buy if you:
- camp and want to flood a whole campsite with light
- hunt at night and need a long-throw spotlight beam
- want a USB output that tops off your phone in an emergency
- like the idea of a tripod-mountable, strap-carry searchlight
Skip if you:
- want a pocket light. This is huge and hangs off your shoulder
- expect the side auxiliary lamp to do much. Red, white, and a fast flash is about it
- need something lightweight. At 3.39 lbs it’s a two-hand carry

My 18000 Lumen Rechargeable Flashlight Nearly Blinded Me
I hit the main button and it came on at full brightness, and I couldn’t look at it while it sat in my hand. That’s not a figure of speech, I had to turn away. At 18,000 lumens through a 150W XHP360 LED, this is not a flashlight you casually point at things. You can check the current price on Amazon here. It is huge, it is bright, and it will light up the world.
What’s Packed Into This Thing
150W XHP360 LED, 18,000 lumens, Coke-can-sized lens head, that’s why the wide flood works. That big front end is why you get such a wide field of view. There’s a main button up top for on, off, and dimming, plus a second button for the auxiliary side lamp. It’s USB rechargeable right up on top, comes with a shoulder strap because it’s big enough to sling over your shoulder, and ships with a case, a charging cable, and the strap.
Three Feet Up, It Covered My Whole Desk
I held it about three feet above my desk and it lit up the entire surface. That’s how bright it is. The controls are simple once you feel them out. One press on the main button fires the crazy bright setting, press again and it dims, again dimmer, again and it’s off. Double tap the top and you’re in strobe. Hold the button down and it ramps up and down, up and down, and whenever you let go it stays at whatever brightness you landed on. So you get stepless dimming without hunting through modes.
The zoom is the fun part. You twist the front end and it slides out further and further. Zoomed all the way in, the beam takes on a squared-off look because you’re basically staring at the raw LED. Turn it back and the shape rounds out again. That big Coke-can lens gives you a huge field of view, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to see what’s moving out in the dark.
The Side Lamp Doesn’t Do Much
The auxiliary side lamp is the weak spot. There’s a red light that comes on, press again and it flashes really fast, and I don’t think it does much else at first. Hold it down and you can swap between red and white and dim it, so it works as a little fill light to light up a room or a tent. But it’s a side note next to the main beam. If you’re buying this expecting a strong secondary lantern, temper that. It’s an extra, not a headline feature.

Made For Campers And Night Hunters
Point it at a campsite and the whole thing goes bright in one shot, no repositioning, no sweeping. The wide flood from that Coke-can lens head is the reason: you’re throwing light across a wide field of view rather than a narrow tunnel. Hunting with it is the other obvious use, since you can zoom the beam tight and throw it a long way out. The shoulder strap matters here, because at 3.39 lbs you don’t want to hold it in one hand all night. There’s also a standard thread hole so you can mount it on a tripod for hands-free light while you work on a truck or set up camp.
Bright Searchlight vs A Regular Handheld Flashlight
A normal handheld flashlight can’t touch this on flood or range. Your average EDC light fits in a pocket and lights a path. This one lights a field. The trade-off is size and weight. A pocket flashlight is something you carry everywhere without thinking. This is something you decide to bring, sling over your shoulder, and use when you need to see a long way out. If your job is walking the dog at night, get a small light. If your job is finding something in a dark field, this is the tool.
What I’d Tell A Buyer
Keep it charged up and it’s ready to go. The LCD readout shows you how much battery life is left, so you’re not guessing. The USB output also acts as a charger, so in an emergency you can get a little juice into your phone. Don’t stare into the beam and don’t point it at anyone, because it is that bright. And spend a minute up front learning the button pattern, single press, double tap, hold. Once it clicks, it’s easy. If you’re hauling this to a campsite or a night hunt, the shoulder strap and tripod mount will earn their keep fast. If you just need a light for the garage, save the money and the shoulder strain.
