I’ve cracked two bare phones in two years, so a case wasn’t optional, but I was done carrying a separate wallet too. My one condition: six slots minimum, ID window, and wireless charging still usable somehow. Every wallet case I’d tried killed wireless charging dead. I Cannot Use Galaxy Ultra Without a Case
How the Case and Wallet Actually Fit Together
The phone drops into the shell and snaps in place. Boom, boom, boom, we’re in. Everything you need stays reachable: the charging port, the power button, the volume, and the stylus slot are all cut out and accessible. There’s a gap up top for what I think is the microphone. Nothing got covered that shouldn’t be.
The wallet side is where it gets interesting. There’s an outer pocket that holds a couple of cards, plus one you can push in and out. Open the flap and there’s an ID window that shows your license through it, with slots on either side. That’s six slots total for one case. The wallet itself is PU leather with RFID blocking baked in.
The Wallet Comes Off, and That Changes Everything
The wallet snaps off magnetically, one clean pull. At a register, I hand over just the wallet and keep the phone in my pocket, which I’ve never been able to do with any other wallet case. It’s also the only reason wireless charging works: detach the wallet, set the phone on a Qi pad, done. The wallet can prop up on its own too, which is a small bonus for video watching.
The real payoff is charging. With my old case, I can’t use any of the wireless charging. There’s just too much there and it won’t go through. Same story here if you leave the wallet attached. But take that wallet off and the phone charges wirelessly through the case, which I think is what a lot of people are going to want to do with this. That’s the smart part.
The Card Slots Are Stiff Out of the Box
The slots fight you at first. When I first loaded cards into that outer pocket, it was stiff, and that’s just because it’s brand new. Getting a card to push in and out smoothly took a little working in. It’s not a deal-breaker, and it loosens with use, but heads up: don’t expect buttery card slots on day one. And remember the trade-off with charging. If you want that wireless charge, the wallet has to come off first every single time. That’s an extra step some people won’t love.

Who This Galaxy Ultra Case Is Actually For
This is for the person who has said, out loud, that they refuse to carry a wallet and a phone as two things. That’s me. If you keep an ID, a debit card, a credit card, and a couple more cards on you, six slots covers it. It’s also for anyone who wants wireless charging but got burned by bulky wallet cases that block it. The detach-to-charge move is the whole reason to pick this over a fixed-wallet case. If you’re a minimalist who wants the thinnest possible shell and never carries cards, this isn’t your case.
Versus a Regular Fixed-Wallet Case
My old case is the comparison point, and it loses on charging. With a standard built-in wallet case, all that leather and card bulk sits between the phone and the charging pad, so wireless charging just doesn’t happen. This one gets around that by making the wallet removable. Where a fixed case wins: it’s one solid piece with nothing to detach, so there’s no extra step and no wallet to set down and forget. If you never wireless charge, a fixed case is simpler. If you do, the detachable design is the smarter way to do it.
My Advice Before You Order
Confirm your phone is genuinely the S26 Ultra with the 6.9-inch display before buying. Go to Settings, About phone, Model Name, and check. This case is cut specifically for that model, so a near-match phone won’t seat right. Once it’s on, work the card slots a few times to loosen them up instead of forcing a card in on the first try. And get in the habit early: wallet off before you set it on a charger. Do that and the two best features of this case stop stepping on each other.
