I needed a knife just to get into the package, the box was barely bigger than a deck of cards, which told me immediately these had to fold. You can grab the full set on Amazon here, but let me walk you through what actually came out of that box. First thing I saw once I got it open, the headphones were already tucked inside a little leatherish carry bag. Oo. Already I’m liking what I’m seeing.
Quick Verdict
I pulled these out of the box and one of my daughters immediately called dibs. The Lobkin kids Bluetooth headphones fold flat, glow with cat-ear LEDs, and throw an AUX cable in the bag for planes. The controls sit on the left, which threw me off, but the rest is nice and simple.

The Fold And The Extenders
The fold locks down hard, I shook them and they didn’t pop. That matters when they’re rattling around a backpack under a lunch box. Unfold them and each arm slides out on its own extender, so the same pair that fits a seven-year-old can still sit flush on a twelve-year-old’s head.
Something I noticed right out of the gate that I hadn’t seen until just then. On the bottom of the headpiece there are little textured bumps on the cushion. Kind of interesting, kind of cool. The outside of the cushions is nice and cushiony too.
The Controls Are On The Left. Wait, What?
I have to stand corrected here. Like most headphones they’re marked, one side says right, one side says left. But this is the first pair I’ve ever seen where the controls sit on the side marked left. Usually it’s the right. On that left cup you get your on/off button, which is a slider that actually slides, plus your power, your volume up and down, and your fast forward if you’re listening to music.
Flip the slider and it immediately jumps into pairing mode wanting to connect to a device. So you’ll find it on your phone or tablet, pair up, and next time you switch it on it comes right back. Nothing complicated. Just don’t spend two minutes hunting the right cup for buttons like I almost did.
The Left-Side Buttons Take Getting Used To
The button placement is the one thing that made me pause. Every pair of headphones I’ve handled puts the controls on the right, so muscle memory sends your hand there first. On these it’s the left, and for a kid who’s used to a different pair, that’s a small relearn. It’s not a deal-breaker. But it’s worth knowing before it trips you up mid-song on a car ride.

Who This Is Actually For
These are aimed squarely at kids and teens, and it shows.
