You push a button, talk, and a few seconds later a black thermal sticker rolls out the top. My first request was “Bigfoot riding a unicorn on a rainbow.” It just did it. No typing, no menus, no dragging images around.

This is a smart sticker printer built around one trick, and it does that trick well. It shows you the AI image on the 3.5-inch screen, then feeds it out the top so you can pull it loose. That’s it. That simplicity is exactly why I kept reaching for it.

What’s Actually Inside the Box

It prints in black only because it’s a thermal printer, so there’s zero ink and zero toner to mess with. The stickers come out the same size as that little screen. You get one big roll loaded plus three rolls total, and the roll just sits inside once you open the top. Start it at the edge, close it, and it adjusts itself.

How It Held Up Through a Dozen Ridiculous Requests

The AI nails weird prompts better than I expected. I told it “Benson Boone doing a backflip off a piano,” “Baby Shark attacking a lion,” and “a bee playing a trumpet,” and each one came out with good little details for a black thermal print. I told it to draw our dog, a rottweiler, while she was sleeping, and it looked just like her. My favorite accident was “a kindergarten teacher stressed out,” which was fitting because my wife starts kindergarten teacher in-service this week.

At 50mm/s the sticker feeds out quick enough that a kid won’t lose interest waiting. You Get One Shot Per Print, and That Bugged Me

Here’s the catch: you can’t control it and you can’t reprint on the fly. It’s one time, it prints, and that image is gone. So if the AI does something amazing, you can’t just hit go again from the printer itself to get another copy.

The workaround lives in the app. It keeps a history, so if you really would want to do one again, you can connect back to the printer and reprint from there. You can also change the density and pick how many copies you want. There’s a dithering mode setting I left completely alone, since it flagged that it’s not suitable for text-line printing and I didn’t feel like babysitting it. So the reprint option exists, it’s just not obvious, and you have to go dig for it.

The Blocked-Words Wall Is Real

There are certain words you simply can’t say. I couldn’t say “Spider-Man,” so I said “superhero dressed as a spider,” and it came out looking just like Spider-Man anyway. But “Mickey Mouse” got me a flat “the voice contains prohibited words, please try again.” Superman wouldn’t go through either. Disney characters, copyrighted stuff, and violent prompts get filtered, so “Obama and Trump fighting” was a no. Just kind of know that going in. It’s a kid-friendly content filter doing its job, but it’ll trip you up when you’re trying to be clever.

Who This Little Printer Actually Fits

This works best for adults, kids 8+, and classrooms—all of whom can run it solo after WiFi setup. The voice-to-print bit means a kid can run the whole thing on their own after you do the WiFi setup in the app. It’d be great in a classroom too. Come up with something funny, or do a “happy birthday” run where you want the same sticker on every package, and you go into the app and print a bunch. Buying Advice From Someone Who Played With It Too Long

Learn the app early. That’s my one tip. It runs the WiFi setup, but it’s also where the reprint history, density, and multi-copy printing hide, so poke around before you hand it to a kid. Don’t expect precision either. You describe a scene, the AI gives you its take, and that’s the fun of it. If you fight it for an exact result you’ll be frustrated. Lean into the weird prompts and let it surprise you. And keep those extra rolls handy, because once it starts printing you’ll burn through paper faster than you think.
